Description: Dual relationships blur professional boundaries and risk exploitation and harm to clients. Social workers, healthcare workers, and counselors must navigate these complexities by setting appropriate and culturally sensitive boundaries. Participants will gain insight on limited information sharing, respecting patient privacy, explaining legal and ethical basics, including their relationship to HIPAA, and differentiating between privacy, confidentiality, and ethical culture. The presenter will use case scenarios, videos, and breakout rooms during this presentation.
Learning Objectives: By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

2. Understand the measures taken to protect client data.
3. Understand the different types of dual relationships
